ABOUT

I design and create original furniture, interiors and spatial solutions, combining craftsmanship with
a strong sense of material, detail and place.

With over twenty years of experience, I approach each project individually, balancing aesthetics, function and atmosphere.

Based in Nová Paka, Czech Republic, I have worked
on projects across Europe, including Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands and Sweden. My international experience also includes a three-month creative residency in the United States.

DESIGN & CONSULTATION

From a single piece of furniture to an entire space. I design interiors, terraces, entrances and other areas around the home, always with a focus on function, proportion and the way the space is actually used.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

I create bespoke furniture and custom-made elements based on my own designs or supplied plans — from tables, beds and bookcases to kitchens, built-ins and complete interior solutions.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Delivery and professional installation can be provided as part of the project, depending on its location and scope.

COLLABORATION

I also work with architects, designers and companies on custom furniture, prototypes and unconventional solutions — from design development and technical refinement to final production.

APPROACH

At the heart of my work is finding solutions that truly work — whether I am designing a piece of furniture or shaping an entire space.

More than twenty years of craftsmanship have given me a deep understanding of wood, metal, glass, concrete and other materials. This allows me to combine traditional and contemporary techniques freely, bringing together function, aesthetics and lasting quality.

My work has its roots in raw industrial aesthetics and a fascination with industrial architecture. Over time, it has evolved towards more refined forms, cleaner lines and a stronger use of geometry. Today, my visual language moves between the raw character of industrial design, the functional clarity of modernist architecture and the distinctive geometry of Czech Cubism. I also draw inspiration from the history of Czech design and applied arts, including the porcelain sculptures of Jaroslav Ježek.

Historical principles, forms and materials meet a contemporary approach, creating something new, distinctive and timeless.

Every project is a collaboration. Personal contact, mutual trust and a straightforward approach are important to me. Each piece is made for a particular person and place, with attention to detail, quality and longevity.
